The papers: Wednesday's front pages

Guardian deputy editor Paul Johnson and Neil Midgley, media commentator at Forbes.com, joined the BBC News Channel to review Wednesday's papers.

With the front pages dominated by the verdicts of the News of the World phone-hacking trial, they began by discussing the Guardian's coverage of the case.

The pair then contrasted that paper's focus on Andy Coulson being found guilty, along with his links to David Cameron, with the approach taken by the Times, which leads on the acquittal of Coulson's predecessor Rebekah Brooks.

They also discussed the coverage of the case in the Daily Telegraph and Financial Times.
