Passport Office 'not in chaos', says Paul Pugh
The head of the Passport Office Paul Pugh has again apologised to customers over continuing delays in the handling of passport applications.
While facing fresh questions from MPs, Paul Pugh denied the Passport Office was in "total crisis" as was claimed by an employee in a BBC radio interview.
Mr Pugh said measures announced by the home secretary had been "successfully implemented" and the organisation was "not in chaos".
