Police apology over Cherry Groce Brixton shooting

Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe has apologised "unreservedly" for the shooting of Dorothy "Cherry" Groce, which led to her death.

A jury inquest has found that police failures contributed to Mrs Groce's death - which triggered the 1985 Brixton riots.
