The papers: Thursday's front pages

Broadcaster Jennie Bond and journalist Lynn Faulds Wood joined the BBC News Channel to discuss Thursday's front pages.

They began by discussing the Guardian's front-page coverage of the latest Israeli strikes in Gaza, before moving on to the Daily Telegraph's report of the Archbishop of Canterbury's comments about the conflict.

The pair then examined the Times's front page story, which suggests that energy firms are likely to double their profits in the space of a year thanks to falling wholesale oil and gas prices, and the coverage of the fire on Eastbourne's pier.
