The papers: Tuesday's front pages

Financial Times deputy political editor Beth Rigby and John Kampfner, director of the Creative Industries Federation, joined the BBC News Channel to review Tuesday's papers.

They began by discussing the Times's front page story which suggests that RAF fighter-bombers being sent to Iraq as part of an aid operation, supporting thousands of people who are fleeing Islamist militants, are also "ready for combat".

The pair moved on to the Financial Times's coverage of the political situation in Iraq, before discussing a story on the Guardian's front page about Labour pledging to "overhaul" the Conservatives' education reforms if the party comes to power.
