Sir Cliff Richard's Berkshire property searched by police

Police are continuing to investigate an allegation that Sir Cliff Richard sexually assaulted a boy in Sheffield in 1985.

Officers have searched his Berkshire flat but no arrests have been made and the singer, 73, who is abroad, said the claim was "completely false".

Police said the claim related to an alleged offence at an event where US preacher Billy Graham appeared at Bramall Lane.

Dan Johnson reports from South Yorkshire Police headquarters in Sheffield.
