The papers: Thursday's front pages

Times columnist Jenni Russell and broadcaster David Davies joined the BBC News Channel to review Thursday's front pages.

They began by discussing coverage of the pressure on senior officials who failed to prevent the widespread child sex abuse in Rotherham that was revealed in a report this week, focusing on the Daily Mail and Times front pages.

The pair then moved on to the Daily Mirror's front page, which suggests that some 250 jihadists have returned to the UK after fighting in Syria and Iraq, and a story in the Daily Telegraph focusing on calls for firms to declare the "social mix" of their staff.
