Rotherham abuse: 'I failed victims,' says former police chief

A former chief constable of South Yorkshire has told MPs he "singularly failed" the victims of the Rotherham child sex abuse scandal.

Meredydd Hughes told the Home Affairs Select Committee he had no idea of the scale and scope of the exploitation.
