Scottish independence: The currency options

The question of which currency an independent Scotland would use has dominated the campaign.

There are four options: a formal currency union with the rest of the UK, continued use of the pound - albeit informally -, joining the euro or launching its own currency.

Newsnight's economics correspondent Duncan Weldon investigates.
