Scottish independence: Salmond says Scotland 'is on cusp of making history'

Scotland "is on the cusp of making history" by voting for independence, the country's first minister has said.

Alex Salmond predicted that voters would back his campaign for a Yes result in the referendum, despite warnings from some business leaders that the country's economy could face an uncertain and volatile future apart from the UK.
