Passenger captures cross-Channel ferry fire
A fire has broken out on a cross-Channel ferry, operator P&O has confirmed.
The vessel, the Pride of Canterbury, had 337 passengers on board and was arriving in Calais from Dover when the fire broke out in the engine room.
The company confirmed that the sprinkler system quickly extinguished the blaze and that no-one had been injured.
A passenger on the ferry filmed the scens as smoke engulfed the vessel.
