The papers: Wednesday's front pages

Colleen Graffy, a law professor from Pepperdine University, and Independent columnist James Rampton joined the BBC News Channel to review Wednesday's front pages.

They began by looking at the Times, which focuses on RAF bombing raids against Islamic State (IS) targets in Iraq.

The pair then moved on to the Guardian's report about an appeal by the wife of British hostage Alan Henning to the IS militants who are holding him captive.

They then examined the same paper's coverage of the Conservative Party conference, and Prime Minister David Cameron's pledge about NHS funding, comparing it with that of the Daily Telegraph.
