Homeless mums face second eviction after occupying flats

A group of homeless mothers known as 'Focus E15' are going to court to fight their eviction from abandoned flats near the Olympic Park in East London.

They claim their local authority is forcing them to move to other cities even though there is plenty of suitable social housing in the area.

One of the women involved in the group, Jasmine Stone, gave 5 live Breakfast's Lesley Ashmall a tour of the council house they had taken over.

Jasmine said: "We got our evictions and woke up to what the world really is. No one should be intimidated by the council, they work for us."
