Rio Ferdinand: 'No contact with Terry since racism row'
Former England captain Rio Ferdinand has told the BBC that he has not spoken to John Terry since the Chelsea defender racially abused his brother, Anton.
Terry, who played alongside Rio Ferdinand for England, was banned for four matches and fined £220,000 in September 2012. The original incident took place in a fixture between Queen's Park Rangers and Chelsea on 23 October 2011.
Rio Ferdinand added that he had previously been "lulled into a false sense of security" as to how effectively racism was being tackled through football.
First broadcast on BBC Radio 4's Today programme on Monday 6 October.
