Chancellor: All steps being taken to combat Ebola risk

The Chancellor George Osborne has said that the UK is providing support to countries affected by Ebola and will not do anything that puts the British population at risk.

Asked by the BBC's Robert Peston if the UK would introduce medical screening at airports, as is happening in the US, Mr Osborne said: "If the medical advice is we need to screen, and it might well be, then we will absolutely take that action."
