Financial Conduct Authority adverts warn of phone fraud

The Financial Conduct Authority has launched a major publicity campaign to try and warn of the dangers posed by fraudsters who cold call their victims promising investment opportunities.

The regulator is using the proceeds of the crime to pay for adverts in newspapers, on the radio and online.
