Woman claims police refused to investigate daughter's abuse

A woman has told the BBC that she herself had to track down a Sheffield gang who abused her daughter because police refused to act.

She says the men began threatening her family when they realised what she was trying to do.

South Yorkshire Police have already been accused of repeatedly failing to investigate allegations of grooming in the city.

BBC Social Affairs Correspondent Michael Buchanan reports.
