BBC Trust chief Fairhead on her new job

The new chairman of the BBC Trust has said that people going to prison for not paying their licence fee "doesn't sit happily" with her but that "we should look at those people who are subsidising others."

In her first broadcast interview since taking up the post, Rona Fairhead told Today programme presenter Mishal Husain that her commercial background helps her to spend money "in the most efficient way. This is the public's money."
