Inspiration for Winnie the Pooh revealed on 100-year anniversary
The inspiration behind one of the world's best loved children's stories has been told in the run-up to its 100-year anniversary.
A bear, brought to London by a Canadian soldier before World War One, became better known as Winnie the Pooh after featuring in a series of stories by the author AA Milne.
