Cannibal murder suspect ‘died after Taser’ - Gwent Police

A man who died in South Wales after allegedly committing an act of cannibalism became unresponsive after he was Tasered by an officer, Gwent Police have said.

Police were responding to reports that a man was attacking a woman at a hostel in the village of Argoed, Ch Insp Paul Staniforth said.

Matthew Williams was shot with a Taser by police after he attacked 22-year-old Cerys Marie Yemm.
