Cancer patient bids farewell to favourite horse

A cancer patient has died after a final farewell to her favourite horse outside the hospital where she was treated.

Shelia Marsh was taken by staff to see her horse Bronwen, outside the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary in Wigan on Monday afternoon.

The 77-year-old, who was unable to speak due to her illness, died early on Tuesday.
