New powers to tackle returning British jihadists

British jihadists who fight abroad could be stopped from returning to the UK without restrictions under powers outlined by David Cameron.

In an address to the Australian parliament ahead of the G20 summit, the prime minister also proposed new measures to prevent people from travelling to Syria or Iraq to fight by seizing their passports.

James Landale reports from Canberra.
