Bird flu: Thousands of ducks culled at Yorkshire farm

Thousands of ducks are being culled after a case of bird flu was confirmed at a breeding farm in East Yorkshire.

An exclusion zone is in place at the site and, although the exact strain has not been established, the deadly H5N1 form has been ruled out by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

Officials say the risk to public health is very low.

Fergus Walsh reports.
