Israel: 'No justification for this wanton violence'

Israeli government spokesman Mark Regev has said, "There can be no justification for this wanton violence" following a deadly attack on a synagogue.

At least four Israeli worshippers were killed in the attack in West Jerusalem.

Two attackers, thought to be Palestinians, were shot dead by police at the scene.

Mr Regev said the Palestinian president's condemnation of the attack was a move in the right direction but was not enough.
