Whipsnade zookeeper seriously injured by rhino

A zookeeper has been seriously injured by a rhino at Whipsnade Zoo in Bedfordshire.

The man, in his 50s, was rescued from a pool in the animal's enclosure.

He was given enhanced pain relief at the scene and was then treated in hospital for injuries to his chest, abdomen and pelvis,
