Dangerous Christmas toys seized in Dover by Kent Trading Standards
Thousands of dangerous and counterfeit Christmas goods have been prevented from entering the UK after being intercepted at Dover Docks.
Kent County Council Trading Standards said their haul of 5,470 items included counterfeit Peppa Pig toys, loom bands and Disney character dolls.
The rest of the consignment of nearly 170,000 items were refused entry into the EU and were sent back to China.
