Body confirmed as missing mother Charlotte Bevan

A body found in the hunt for a missing mother and her baby has been formally identified as Charlotte Bevan.

The mother went missing from Bristol's St Michael's Hospital on Tuesday with four-day-old daughter Zaani.

Ms Bevan did not have a coat or shoes was wearing hospital slippers, while her baby was wrapped in blankets. The hospital has launched a review.

A search close to the Clifton Observatory is still under way to find the missing baby.
