Denial over RAF 'broken jets' claim

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has denied claims that raids against Islamic State are being conducted with "broken jets and tired and fed up people".

The claims were made in a letter to the BBC by a serviceman at the RAF base in Cyprus where the Tornados are based.

The MoD says many of the claims are inaccurate but sources concede that squadrons used to operating in Afghanistan have inferior catering and medical facilities in Cyprus.
