The papers: Wednesday's front pages

Daily Telegraph senior political correspondent Christopher Hope and Daily Mirror political editor Jason Beattie joined the BBC News Channel to review Wednesday's papers.

They began by discussing the Independent's lead story, reporting a verbal attack by Lib Dem Chief Secretary to the Treasury on Chancellor George Osborne, and the paper's front-page picture illustrating fears in France after a series of street attacks.

The pair then moved on to the Times's front page, which reports that middle-aged people are drinking less alcohol, and a Financial Times story about an "anti-politics" website funded by a UKIP donor.
