The papers: Tuesday's front pages

Daily Mirror political editor Jason Beattie and Daily Telegraph senior political correspondent Christopher Hope joined the BBC News Channel to review Tuesday's papers.

They began by discussing the Times's lead story, quoting the prime minister's calls for firms to give employees a pay rise, and its other front-page report on the conflict in Ukraine.

The pair then moved on to the Financial Times's report about rising medical negligence claims against the NHS. They also examined the Independent's story about a police force apologising for telling a newsagent to hand over details of four people who bought a commemorative edition of Charlie Hebdo magazine.
