Muslim pupil numbers in England and Wales 'double since 2001'

The number of Muslim children growing up in England and Wales has almost doubled in a decade.

A study, commissioned by The Muslim Council of Britain, has broken down official census data which also shows a rise in the Muslim population by 1.1 million, to 2.7 million.
