Care worker Melissa Swift admits attempted murder
A care home worker has admitted trying to murder three colleagues at the Goldfield Court home for the elderly in West Bromwich.
Melissa Swift was arrested last August after staff and residents were taken to hospital complaining of sickness and nausea.
She also admitted two separate counts of making threats to kill, at a short hearing at Birmingham Crown Court.
Speaking outside the court, DCI Michaela Kerr from West Midlands Police said sentencing would take place in April.
