Archbishop Justin Welby 'embarrassed' by unequal pay
The Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby says he is embarrassed by the news that the Church of England pays some of its staff below the living wage.
He was speaking after it was revealed that kiosk workers at Lichfield and Canterbury cathedrals both earn around £6.50 an hour - well below the £7.85 living wage which Church of England bishops recently said ensured people could "live decently".
