The papers: Sunday's front pages

Political commentator Miranda Green and Martin Bentham, home affairs editor of London's Evening Standard, joined the BBC News Channel to review Sunday's papers.

They began by discussing the Mail on Sunday's front page, which gives details of emails sent by the Islamic State extremist known as "Jihadi John" in 2010 to one of its reporters.

The pair also examined the Sunday Times's coverage of the identification of this London-raised jihadist, Mohammed Emwazi, and subsequent coalition tensions over efforts to prevent extremist preachers speaking at universities.

They also look at the same paper's suggestion that senior Conservatives are launching a plan to "save" the prime minister in the event that the Tories are not the largest party after May's general election.
