The papers: Thursday's front pages
Jack Blanchard, deputy political editor at the Daily Mirror, and the London Evening Standard's home affairs editor Martin Bentham joined the BBC News Channel to look at Thursday's newspapers.
They began by discussing the announcement by Downing Street that David Cameron is only prepared to take part in one televised debate ahead of the general election. The story features in a number of papers including the Daily Telegraph, the Guardian and the Sun.
The Daily Mail's coverage of an alleged UK fraud linked to jihadists in Syria, and an interview in the Independent with the former head of the Civil Service in which he suggests that many MPs are out of touch, were also talking points.
