SFO investigate Bank of England over fraud claims
The Serious Fraud Office (SFO) is investigating the way the Bank of England (BoE) lent money to banks during the financial crisis.
It is alleged that the process may have been rigged and BoE staff could have been involved.
The Bank commissioned its own inquiry last year, then referred the matter to the SFO.
Kamal Ahmed reports.
