Met terror chief: Syria girls 'won't be arrested' if they return
The head of the Metropolitan police's counter-terrorism unit has said the three schoolgirls who have travelled to Syria will not be arrested if they return.
Mark Rowley said they had "no evidence" they were involved in terrorist activity.
As a result they have "no reason to fear they will be treated as terrorists".
