Generation 2015 profiles: Craig Maclean

Why should we care about decisions made in politics? In the wise words of Dr Seuss: "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not."

I'm 22, from Glasgow, now living the dream as a medical student in Dundee.

People are my passion - young, old, everywhere in between, and ensuring that they all have a healthy life which they can live to the full.

We need an NHS which cares, with staff who are valued and listened to. We need an education system which puts children and students at the forefront and affords everyone an opportunity.

For me, these are our priorities. We must see the NHS protected and staff paid fairly.

People in Scotland have found this past year that their voice makes a difference in politics. Use your vote: let's make sure decisions are taken by the people, for the people.
