Generation 2015 profiles: Paige Cope

I'm from Middlesbrough and I'm 18 years old.

I only really became interested in politics a couple of years ago, when I realised how disengaged our government was with young people and their interests.

I really think the current political system needs to change, in a positive way, a way that will lead to a more representative government. The lack of evidence of political leaders making a real effort with young people is worrying.

I think this country needs a leader that isn't groomed into politics, a leader who knows what it is like to live in the real world.
