The papers: Wednesday's front pages

Corporate adviser Angela Knight and the Independent on Sunday's chief political commentator John Rentoul joined the BBC News Channel to review Wednesday's papers.

They began by discussing the Daily Mail's front page, which predicts that Chancellor George Osborne will signal the "end of the tax return panic" by replacing the self-assessment system with an automatic digital tax account.

The pair then turned to reports of the expected Budget announcements in the Times and the Guardian.

And they also looked at coverage in the Liverpool Echo and Metro of the evidence given to the inquiry into the Hillsborough football stadium tragedy by the police match commander.
