The papers: Friday's front pages
Broadcaster Penny Smith and Telegraph economics commentator Liam Halligan joined the BBC News Channel to review Friday's front pages.
They began by discussing the Daily Telegraph's front page, which reports Conservative plans to raise the threshold for the 40p rate of income tax.
The pair then examined the Independent, which highlights complaints that voters are being "kept in the dark" about which public services will be cut to meet parties' spending plans.
They then moved on to the Guardian's story suggesting that much of the increase in the UK's economic growth has been driven by increased net migration.
