MoD official jailed for selling stories to press

A senior Ministry of Defence official who made £100,000 from selling stories to The Sun has been jailed for 12 months.

Bettina Jordan-Barber, 42, gave the paper exclusive details of army disciplinary investigations, sex scandals and casualties in Afghanistan.

She also sold stories about the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry.
