Somerset Levels water vole move cost £135k

It has been revealed that £135,000 was spent relocating water voles so work could begin dredging two Somerset rivers in 2014.

Some people living on the Levels have criticised the Environment Agency, which appointed a contractor to carry out the work - arguing that the money could have been better spent.
