Prince Andrew sex claims struck out by US judge

A judge in the US has ruled that sexual allegations made against Prince Andrew should be removed from the court records.

The allegations - which have always been denied by Buckingham Palace - were made by a woman who claimed she had been forced to have underage sex with the prince.

Judge Kenneth Marra said the "lurid" claims were "unnecessary" to decide the civil case.

Nicholas Witchell reports.
