'We have been given the real life sentence'

A man has been jailed for life for murdering Pennie Davis, the mother of five stabbed to death in a field where she kept horses in the New Forest.

Justin Robertson was found guilty of murder, and conspiracy to murder, at Winchester Crown Court.

The man who hired him, Benjamin Carr, was also found guilty of conspiracy to murder and will serve a minimum of 30 years.

Speaking outside court, Mrs Davis' daughters said: "It is not them, but us, Pennie's family, who have been given the real life sentence."
