Andrew Main admits Oxfordshire arson attacks

A man has admitted carrying out arson attacks on several buildings in Oxfordshire, including the offices of the county council, a funeral parlour, and a thatched cottage.

Andrew Main, 47, pleaded guilty to four counts of arson at a hearing at Oxford Crown Court. He pleaded not guilty to a further charge of arson with intent to endanger life.

Householder Jean Gladstone, whose cottage in Rokemarsh was one of the buildings set on fire, has been telling the BBC's Katharine Da Costa about the wait to return to her home.
