Channel Islands celebrate 70 years since liberation

Today marks 70 years since the liberation of the Channel Islands.

They were invaded in 1940 and were the only part of the British Isles occupied by the Nazis during World War Two.

The islands are remembering their liberation with parades and services of thanksgiving.

Robert Hall reports.
