'Daft move' of Prince Charles's press adviser

Prince Charles's press adviser attempted to snatch Channel 4 News reporter Michael Crick's microphone as he asked about the publication of some of his private letters.

Kristina Kyriacou pulled off and threw down the microphone's protective cover after taking exception to Mr Crick's question.

The incident came ahead of private letters sent by the Prince of Wales to Labour ministers a decade ago being published after a lengthy legal battle.

Media commentator Steve Hewlett said: "It's a daft move, she shouldn't have done it".
