Church bells upset Hertfordshire village harmony

The constant chiming of church bells has upset the harmony in one Hertfordshire village.

In Ashwell, the bells have been rung every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day for more than a century.

But after some villagers complained about the noise a timer has been installed to silence the church bells overnight.

Tim Muffett reports.
