Kent earthquake: 'I thought maybe a bomb had gone off'

Caroline Knott from Ramsgate tells the BBC how the Kent earthquake woke her up.

The earthquake was a 4.2 magnitude according to the British Geological Survey (BGS).

The tremor originated near Sandwich at a depth of 15km (9.5 miles) underground at 02:52 BST, it reported.
